Five Worst Console  to Computer Games (Broken)

WALL OF TEXT EXPLAINED: What you're looking at is an episode of Countdown w/ Defunct Games published before 2006. As you can tell, something has gone horribly awry. I won't bore you with the technical details, but it has to do with the old layout being incompatible with the new. Eventually, we would like to retrofit these old episodes of Countdown, but that will require a significant amount of time. As Defunct Games has only a limited staff, we aren't sure when we'll have the chance to fix this article. If you absolutely need to know what this article said, get a hold of us on Twitter or leave a message in the comment section below. Sorry for the inconvenience. I hope you will enjoy the episodes created post-2006.

#5 Virtua Squad Suffering a name change, the PC version of Virtua Cop, Virtua Squad, was released with little fan fair. Recreating the levels and graphics is one thing, but not being able to faithfully emulate the control means everything in a game like this. A sad sad example of why the mouse isn't good for EVERYTHING. #4 Bomberman Bomberman just has never worked well as a one player game, and on the PC that is what it's reduced to. There is a multiplayer mode, but even that is filled with bugs. Plus the program is extremely picky, on several computers tried, only one computer has been able to play the game -- even though the other computers are similar in every way. #3 Street Fighter II controls for the computer, there isn't a unified control scheme, at least, not like you find on consoles. This effected the play control of Street Fighter II, and let's face it, when you can't pull off the moves, you don't continue to play. #2 NFL Blitz Seventy Five percent of NFL Blitz' charm is it's multiplayer features. Four players sitting together, eating chips, watching the big screen TV ... somehow it just doesn't feel the same on the computer. With poor control to boot, NFL Blitz isn't worth your time. #1 Virtua Fighter To everybody who bought Street Fighter 2, realized it was horrid, and then thought about taking it back to get Sega's first Virtua Fighter on the PC ... DON'T DO IT! Street Fighter 2 SUCKS on the PC, but there is no excuse for Virtua Fighter!!!
