Razor Freestyle Scooter

I suppose it was only a matter of time, but ladies and gentlemen, your kids brothers prayers have been answered. With Razor Freestyle Scooter you can do just about half the things you can in Tony Hawk, half the size, and half the fun.

Yet, surprisingly, Razor Freestyle Scooter isn't all that bad of a game. Oh sure, it's cute and cartoony, but it controls a lot like Tony Hawk, and is fun for a lot of the same reasons.

It's obvious from the get go that the game is geared at a younger audience. It's no real challenge to advance to future levels, and the game isn't hard in the least. The game is so easy it's a fault. Even the challenge levels, which have you hanging from high above are entirely too easy.

But there is a lot of variety here, and the levels fit the kind of game it's trying to be. Frankly, if you have no intention of ever trying Tony Hawk Pro Skater this game is right for you, it's easy to beat in a day, and it looks pretty.

No really, it does. The graphics are done with decent detail, something I was extremely happy to find. A few of the levels even featured wall graffiti I swear I tagged in Jet Set Radio.

This game is hard to recommend with Tony Hawk on the market, but if you want something for your five year old brother, this is perfect ... well, better yet, just save your money for Tony Hawk 3.
