Samurai Shodown! 2

Now let me think here, how long has it been since I played Samurai Shodown 2 in the arcades? It's been years now, I was a little turned off of the third, and then the fourth was fun, but didn't have the same flavor. Playing it here on the Neo Geo Pocket Color was a fantastic experience, it brought all of my arcade memories home, even though the graphics weren't even in the same ball park.

Most of the characters are represented here, and they all control as I remember, which I might add, impressed me. Plus the back grounds and the cinemas were all familiar. Let it be known that this is a fantastic product. But it's not perfect. As in the original, some of the moves are a little hard to pull off. And I would have liked a better two player mode. The one we get is adequate, but not real innovative. I wish they had added something to this rather old game. But they kept it intact, and that's saying a whole lot.
