Baseball Stars Color

SNK may have simply repackaged their black and white Baseball Stars, but at least they fixed a few bugs in it!

As you may have noticed, Baseball Stars Color IS exactly that. It's the EXACT same game as the black and white version, except now it's in color ... oh, and they fixed that lag between hitting and fielding.

But that's really not important. What is important is that like the black and white version of this game, Baseball Stars Color features a pretty good playing game of baseball. It's a heck of a lot easier than the arcade version, and it's a heck of a lot easier to lug around. The problem is that a lot of the animation that made Baseball Stars such a hit in the first place is gone. And with that went the character. But the game controls well, and the ball is easy to hit, and moderately easy to catch. It fixed enough of the problems to be considered a better game in my estimation. Well worth picking up.
