Aero Fighters 2

Aero Fighters has always been something of an enigma to me. On the surface they are loads of fun, with tons of personality. But then upon further inspection you realize just how ill conceived this series really is.

First and foremost, there really isn't an ending to this game, the levels just keep going on and on and on. In fact, in order to get any sort of credit sequence at all you have to beat the first level three separate times. Horrible. Horrible. Horrible.

But the game plays so well, and looks so good it's hard to understand why they haven't finished this game. It's a great two player game, and even the bosses are cool. But why would they not want to end the game? Why would they just keep us going? Why why why!?!

These questions may never be answered, but after going through this game, I likely will never actually recommend this game again. If there ever is a Aero Fighters 4, they better add an ending!
