Shot in the Dark is an inventive new action game that expertly mashes together genres, all while painting a gorgeous pixel world filled with darkness and paranoia. It can be frustrating and cruel at times, but this sophomore release from Possum House Games wows with its old school looks and fresh new ideas. With only three colors and a six-shooter, Shot in the Dark stands apart from all of the other run 'n gun platformers. Highly recommended. Rating: 85%
