Raze
[ Publisher: Newsfield Publications | Price: 1.50 | Format: Multi Platform ]
Today we're taking a look at Raze, which was the final game magazine from Newsfield Publications. This UK publication was the resurrection of The Games Machine, which went head-to-head against Computer + Video Games. Confused? We unravel the history of Raze in this new episode of 29 Magazines of Christmas.

Excerpt: After Newsfield shuttered the magazine, The Games Machine turned into something completely different ... yet totally the same. This magazine was Raze, which ran for twelve issues between 1990 and 1991. The magazine was designed with four goals in mind: Be the first to provide exclusive scoops, to become an authoritative voice through their reviews, to create a stylish design for the sophisticated reader and, most importantly, offer three pulsating pull-out posters every month. Trust me, those aren't my words.

On Tomorrow's Episode: I'm a little behind, so I'm not sure what tomorrow's episode will bring. But I assure you, it will hit the site tomorrow. I haven't missed a day yet. Still want more?
