Today we're going to shake things up a little with a new episode of You Only Live Once, the show where I see how far I can go on a single life. In the past we've only looked at old 8- and 16-bit games, but going forward we're going to offer a better mix of retro games and brand new releases.

We're kicking things off with Horizon Shift, which hits Steam on May 29. It's from Flump Studios, the makers of Super Killer Hornet, Retro Racer Combat, Pester and SKH Resurrection. I've put a couple hours into this game, but am generally pretty bad at it. Let's see how far I can get in a single life.
