Let's face it, Samurai Shodown 2 was the best of its series. Likewise, Mortal Kombat II was the best of it's series. So, Mortal Kombat vs Samurai Shodown isn't too odd of a pairing.

Just imagine the fatalities the Samurai Shodown characters could use. Many of the characters can already cut their opponents in half, so why not other body parts (like Time Killers ... just a heck of a lot better).

It's also a game that could end up easily on every system from the Neo Geo Pocket Color to the Dreamcast to the Nintendo Game Cube. Perhaps it's time to go back to the ultra violent fighting games. Perhaps it's time for Mortal Kombat vs Samurai Shodown!!
