Ninja Gaiden (Ch. 13 + 14)

PREVIOUSLY ON CYRIL READS NINJA GAIDEN: All it took was a 13 year old letter from his long-lost father to get ninja master Ryu Hayabusa to travel half way around the world to seek out answers. Upon stepping foot on U.S. soil, Ryu has had nothing but trouble. First he's kicked off of a college campus, then he gets in a fight with some dude at a bar, then he's shot by a teenage girl, then he gets into a high speed chase with thieves dressed as postal workers, and did I mention that he gets confronted by the CIA? Yeah, that happens, too. Now he's off searching for ancient artifacts that could spell the end of the world as we know it. Oh, and he's also riding a speeding mine cart that just ran out of track. You've managed to survive the first six episodes and now you want to know what all this is leading to. You'll be happy to know that we're now more than half of the way through this book, which can only mean that we're getting close to the good stuff. Actually, let's not sell these two chapters short.
