Ninja Gaiden (Ch. 11 + 12)

That's right, the CIA is dropping a 13 year old in the middle of South America to save the world. We're in good hands!
PREVIOUSLY ON CYRIL READS NINJA GAIDEN: After traveling half way around the world to learn what really happened to his long-lost father, ninja master Ryu Hayabusa discovered that there are two statues that, if combined, could spell the end of the world. Unfortunately Ryu had to deal with thieves dressed up like postal workers and retrieve his stolen statue. In the mean time Professor Smith (aka Dr. Wimple) was seriously injured in a scuffle that resulted in the other statue to be stolen. And then the CIA showed up and tried to convince Ryu to work for them. No, I'm not joking. I only wish I was.

You've managed to survive the first five episodes and now you want to know what all this is leading to. The good news is that the last two episodes have been fun AND exciting, not something I can say for the first couple chapters of Ninja Gaiden. But there are still a few unanswered questions. For example, will Ryu work for the U.S. government and take down this "Jacquio" before the world ends? Will Dr. Wimple survive until the end of the book? What is this CIA stuff all about anyway? These are the types of questions we hope are answered chapters 11 and 12.

In case you have yet to listen to the first five episodes, I suggest you go back and do that now (I'll wait). To everybody else that is caught up I proudly offer you Cyril Reads Ninja Gaiden chapters eleven and twelve ...
