Today we're taking a look at Super Gaming, the internationally-focused periodical from the editors of Electronic Gaming Monthly. It may have only lasted a few issues, but this curiously short publication had a solid concept. It also reviewed games that never hit the United States. Find out why you should care about Super Gaming when you watch today's episode of 29 Magazines of Christmas.

Excerpt: Launched in 1991 by the same publisher as Electronic Gaming Monthly, this magazine decided to overpromise and under-deliver. With a name like Super Gaming, you might expect it to be the size of a phone book. But alas, the editors were only able to fill up 32 pages. And it wasn't super because it lasted a long time, either. Super Gaming only made it four issues, with a grand total of just 128 pages.

On Tomorrow's Episode: Come back tomorrow when we'll take a look at Tips & Tricks, the long-running magazine devoted to, well, tips and tricks. Did you know this magazine was a spin-off? This is just one of the things you'll learn when you tune in to Friday's episode of 29 Magazines of Christmas.
