What's Up: Not only did Treasure make one of the best Genesis games of all time, but it created possibly the best 16 bit game of all time. GunStar Heroes may have looked like Contra, but that's where the similarities stopped. No matter how you look at it, GunStar Heroes is white palm, eyes wide open, action packed, festival of bosses and fantastic level design. One of the levels is even a GIANT board
game! Either alone or with a friend, GunStar Heroes is more fun than you were promised. If you've never heard of it, then shame on you, and get out there and get it now.

How Cool Are You: So it's not so much a collectible as it is an 'essential'. But you know, that's alright, because eventually it will be rare. So think of this as a heads up to what WILL be collectible here in a few years or so. In a few years if you ARE cool enough to own the Box, instructions, and game then hats off to you. So, just remember, GunStar Heroes isn't going DOWN in price.

*Prices for games and collectibles has been known to fluctuate wildly. What's more, this article was written in 2001, so any number of factors could sink or improve its value. I hope you enjoy the article, but hope you won't take the prices too seriously.)
