32 Articles of Christmas

Is it really that time of the year? I'm afraid so, time for you to stop spending all that money on yourself and put it towards gifts for others. I know that doesn't sound like much fun, especially when that money is earmarked for a new Xbox 360 ... but it's the holidays, your relatives are expecting you to pony up with a gift! That wasn't really my question, are you sure you're ready for this time of year? No, I'm not. That's why I'm proud to present our least compelling "Days of Christmas" article ever!! I know it's wrong for me to bad mouth my own articles, but why wait for others to do it for me when I can do it first? You're about to read the 32 Articles of Christmas. Those are 32 Defunct Games articles, the type you may have already read. That sounds pretty lazy! You bet it does! But these are 32 of my favorite articles. There are new people visiting Defunct Games every single day, so maybe it's time to point people in the right direction when it comes to the good articles. Sure I'd like you to read everything on the site, but who has the time? These are the cream of the crop, articles so good I don't mind reminding you of them. So we should just expect a month of re-runs?? Heck no, starting next week we are going to be posting BRAND NEW articles every Monday, Wednesday, and Friday ... our regular schedule. These 32 Articles of Christmas are really just going to be in the background, where they belong. So read our new articles and then see what the best article from the past will be, if you're new to the site then you can expect a two articles you've never read every single day. And don't fret over reviews, we have plenty of reviews and blog posts going on during the month leading up to December 25th. Just because we're not putting a ton of time and effort into our holiday feature doesn't mean you should just forget about it. Those old Days of Christmas articles are so much better than this, can we access them when we want? You bet you can! There are four different articles, each with different themes and episodes. If you want to start at the top, then I suggest you check out the 33 Days of Christmas, an article looking at 33 different "rare" items and what they were worth (at the time). If you've already gone through those, then maybe the 28 Years of Christmas is more your speed. In that article every episode looks at one pivotal moment in a year, a mini-history lesson if you will. There's also the 29 Issues of Christmas, a feature that reviews 29 different magazines ultimately trying to find the best one. And last, but not least, we have our Holiday special from last year, the all important 31 Websites of Christmas, a feature full of video game website reviews. How did Sega do? What about Nintendo? These questions and more will be answered when you check out all four of these old Days of Christmas stories.
