Thanks to Jeff Minter's hard work, we all remember the greatness of Tempest 2000. It's the single best reason to own a Jaguar, both then and now. But nobody ever brings up Jeff's other Jaguar update, Defender 2000. Why is that? Perhaps it's because the game fails on several fundamental levels, rendering it an exercise in boredom.
