Bullet Witch - Great Moments in Bad Acting

After a decade, Bullet Witch is back! I'm not sure why it happened, but XSEED Games decided to port the game to PC without any noticeable upgrades. This includes the terrible writing and voice acting, which remains one of the game's most cringe-inducing elements. We're taking a look at some of the dumbest, most bone-headed lines found in Bullet Witch, currently available on Steam.

The Spy Who Shot Me - Great Moments in Bad Acting

The Spy Who Shot Me is a brand new first-person shooter from developer Retro Army Limited. It attempts to recreate the low-polygon fun of GoldenEye 007 on the Nintendo 64. It's currently part of Steam Early Access, so we're unable to review the game at this time. What I can tell you is that a lot of characters say the word "heh" when spotted. This is a fun little supercut of all the times I heard the word "heh" while playing through the early build of The Spy Who Shot Me.

Cruz Brothers - Great Moments in Bad Acting

Based on a deeply personal story, Cruz Brothers is a brand new fighting game from developer DCF Studios. It tells the tale of a pair of wannabe boxers who go from street fights to center ring. Along the way they will be introduced to a whole bunch of colorful characters, all of which seem to be voiced by friends and acquaintances. Watch as we unleash ten solid minutes of unbearably awful voice acting from Cruz Brothers, available now on PlayStation 4 and PC.

Dark Years - Great Moments in Bad Acting

Based on true events, Dark Years is set right before the 1953 Iran coup that brought Reza Shah back into power. It's deadly serious subject matter that is told from the perspective of an Iranian developer. There's only one problem -- the voice acting is unintentionally hilarious.

To help demonstrate my point, I have assembled a collection of Dark Years' cheesiest moments. Here you'll see voice actors sounding out English words and mumbling their way through questionably translated dialog. It's time to honor another entry in Great Moments in Bad Acting.

Today we're looking at one of the most infamous video games of all time -- Night Trap. As it turns out, Night Trap is a treasure trove of amazingly bad acting. In fact, there are so many bits that we had to extend it beyond the simple top 10 list. See for yourself when you watch the 15 Most Ridiculous Moments in Night Trap!

Castlevania's Most Awkward Conversations

Great Moments in Bad Acting (Ep. 7) - Today marks the penultimate episode for the season. We're celebrating with a personal favorite of mine -- Castlevania: Symphony of the Night. While there's no denying the game's greatness, it's certainly hard to defend the voice acting. Also worth noting is the quality of recording, which sounds like it was done in a tin can.
Resident Evil's Most Ridiculous Moments

Great Moments in Bad Acting (Ep. 5) - We're back with the episode everybody has been waiting for. That's right, it's time for Resident Evil. While not the first survival horror game, it was the first to hit it big. Perhaps some of the success lies in the hammy overacting. See for yourself when you watch the 10 Most Ridiculous Things Said in Resident Evil!

Ten Most Ridiculous Things Said in Valis III

Great Moments in Bad Acting (Ep. 4) - We're back with another TurboGrafx-CD game. This week it's Valis III, the side-scrolling action game starring a sword wielding school girl. The story is interesting enough, but the voice acting will leave you gasping for breath. It's the villain who ends up stealing the show. See for yourself when you watch the 10 Most Ridiculous Things Said in Valis III!

House of the Dead 2's Ridiculous Moments

Great Moments in Bad Acting (Ep. 3) - This week we're looking at one of Sega's best light gun games. That's right, it's House of the Dead 2. While not very deep, this arcade shooter's story is memorable for all the wrong reasons. Most of it comes down to the terrible acting job of "G". It's hard to believe this was actually read by a human being. See for yourself when you watch the 10 Most Ridiculous Moments in House of the Dead 2.

Great Moments in Bad Acting (Ep. 2) - We're back for another week of terrible voice acting. Today we're digging into Link's dirty past. This is Zelda: The Wand of Gamelon, a horrible game for the CD-i. Even worse than the game is the voice acting. See for yourself when you watch The 10 Most Ridiculous Things Said in Zelda: The Wand of Gamelon!

Ten Most Ridiculous Things Said in Last Alert

Great Moments in Bad Acting (Ep. 1) - Today we're looking at Last Alert, the early generation TurboGrafx-CD game. The only thing keeping this from being just another Commando rip-off was the animated cinemas, rockin' soundtrack and voice acting. Oh that voice acting. Who needs actors when you can get the building janitor and secretary to deliver half-baked lines? See for yourself when you watch The 10 Most Ridiculous Things Said in Last Alert!
