What's Up: Have you ever wanted to play Gunstar Heroes or Phantasy Star II in the car on a long road trip? Were you disappointed in the so - so quality of Game Gear games?!? Well, it's time you picked up Sega's Nomad!! That's right, it's Sega's shortly produced, big-ass portable game system. What do you get for just about $75? A seven foot by four foot game system with the biggest battery pack you'll likely EVER see on a game system. What else? Access to every single Genesis game you can get your grubby little hands on. Sure the screen is a little small, but it's backlit and gorgeous! And better yet,
you'll finally be able to beat some of those $5 Genesis games you see at your local game store!!

How Cool Are You: Now that Nintendo has released their portable Super NES, er, Game Boy Advance, Sega's Nomad isn't the most powerful handheld on the market. But if that doesn't bother you, and it shouldn't, the Nomad is PERFECT. Get some use out of your classic Genesis games, or, if you've never owned a Genesis, here's a perfect time to start collecting the games. Don't let your friends make fun of the 5 hours the batteries last, this thing uses wall outlets, cigarette lighters, and rechargeable packs. And better yet, it doubles as a Genesis if you find yourself with a Television (even has a second port for a second control). How cool are you?
