Find out when you read the 29 Magazines of Christmas!
Consumer Guide: Strategies for Nintendo Games
[ Publisher: Publication International | Price: N/A | Format: NES ]
Today we're taking a look at Consumer Guide: Strategies for Nintendo Games, a magazine disguised as a book. Instead of going head-to-head with GamePro and Electronic Gaming Monthly, this series opted for the school book fair circuit. Find out if that helped or harmed Consumer Guide's chances when you watch today's episode of 29 Magazines of Christmas.

Excerpt: Similar to Game Player's, the layout was dull and the writing was intended to hype the game, no matter how bad it was. Beyond describing the story, Strategies for Nintendo Games offered, um, strategies for Nintendo games. Some of the tips came in the form of passwords and cheat codes, while others were just suggestions for how to improve play.

On Tomorrow's Episode: I'm pretty sure we'll be talking about Mean Machines Sega on tomorrow's episode. But maybe we won't. I don't know. Does anybody even read this part of the page? Let me know if you do. Still want more? Don't forget to check out last year's 29 Questionable Power-Ups of Christmas. And don't forget to subscribe to our YouTube channel, that way you'll never miss a video. See you tomorrow.
